Fair questions, straight answers.

Cost, vetting, privacy, pricing and what happens when something's not right — everything people ask before requesting quotes.

Is Cleaners Network really free?
Yes — completely free for customers, no catches. Cleaning businesses pay us for qualified local leads. You'll never get a bill from us, and the price a cleaner quotes is the same as if you'd found them directly.
Are you a cleaning company?
No. We're a matching network — we don't employ cleaners or do the cleaning ourselves. We connect you with independent, vetted local cleaning businesses, and you book and pay your chosen cleaner directly.
How are cleaners vetted?
Before joining, every business is checked for an active ABN, public liability insurance and references. Staying in requires responsive quoting and a consistent review standard — patterns of poor work or no-shows mean removal from the network.
How fast will quotes arrive, and how many will I get?
Your request goes to a small shortlist of matched local cleaners — typically up to three — and most quotes arrive within one business day, often same-day. You reply only to the ones you like.
Who sees my details?
Only us and the matched cleaners — typically three. We never sell your information to marketing lists, and you can ask us to delete your request at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
How does cleaning pricing usually work?
Regular home cleaning is usually hourly (most homes book 2–4 hours per visit). End-of-lease/bond and most deep cleans are fixed-price by property size and condition. Carpet cleaning is typically per room. Your quotes will state the basis clearly — comparing three is the best price guide there is.
Do I pay through Cleaners Network?
No. You book and pay your chosen cleaner directly — cash, card or invoice as you agree with them. We never handle your money and never take a cut of your price.
What if I'm not happy with a clean?
First, tell the cleaner — reputable businesses (bond cleans especially) usually include a re-clean of missed items if raised quickly. Then tell us: feedback feeds network standards, and if something's properly wrong we'll help get it addressed or rematch you.
Do cleaners bring their own equipment and products?
Usually yes — most professionals bring everything, and many offer eco / low-tox options on request. Prefer your own products (allergies, special surfaces)? Say so in the request and quotes will reflect it.
I run a cleaning business — how do I join?
If you've got an active ABN, public liability insurance and references, we'd love to hear from you. Use the quote form, select "A cleaning business", and tell us your services and suburbs — we'll come back with network details and lead pricing. More on the for-cleaners page.
